JCB is the 25th card issuer in Taiwan.

In Taiwan, about 300,000 merchants accept JCB card and the number of cardmembers exceeds 1.6 million in partnerships with financial institutions.

The TC Bank Le Siang Precious Card targets consumers who are interested in gourmet dining and traveling.

Card members can enjoy cash back for payments at restaurants, railway stations and travel agencies. They can also avail free parking at designated parking areas in Taipai and at Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport.

Other privileges of the Precious Card include free airport transportation and special offers at selected restaurants.

Kimihisa Imada, Deputy President of JCBI, said, "JCB and Taiwan have had a long-term relationship since 1981, and we are committed to provide unique and diverse services to consumers in the market."

"I am delighted to launch such a high quality card with Ta Chong Bank. The biggest advantage of this card is the number of services associated with travel and entertainment, and I am confident that cardmembers will experience more convenience with this card," added Imada.

JCB, which launched its card business in Japan in 1961, is a major global payment brand and a leading credit card issuer and acquirer in the country.

JCB cards are now issued in 16 countries and territories with more than 180 million cardmembers.
