Tablet PC replaces bedtime book

The rise in the use of tablet PC has replaced the bedtime book.

According to a poll conducted by 'LifeProof', 70 percent of parents revealed that they think that the tablets are making children more intelligent as it encourages creative interaction between parents and their children, the Mirror reported.

Also 43 percent of parents admitted using a smartphone or iPad as a "hi-tech baby-sitter" when they are exhausted, and 50 percent confessed picking up fewer books now.
