Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei has advised the United States to get its own house in order in connection with tragic events in Charlottesville before meddling in the affairs of other countries.
In a sarcastic tweet,Ayatollah Ali Khamenei took to Twitter to advise the US to "manage their country, tackle #WhiteSupremacy rather than meddle in nations' affairs."
Khamenei even used the hashtag #Charlottesville and included a black-and-white picture of himself holding a young black child.
Khamenei reacted to last week's white-nationalist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, which turned violent when a car allegedly driven by one of the participants, James Alex Fields Jr., rammed into a crowd of counter protesters, killing a woman identified as Heather Heyer, 32 and injuring 19 people.
President Donald Trump drew international criticism after he told a news conference there was "blame on both sides."
Recently,Iranian President Hassan Rouhani has threatened that Tehran will abandon the 2015 nuclear deal with the P5+1 group and restart its nuclear program "within hours" if the United States continues to impose new sanctions on the country.
Last month, the U.S. announced new sanctions against entities and individuals with ties to Iran, a day after certifying that the Iranian government was in compliance with the nuclear agreement.
