Pakistan skipper Misbah-ul-Haq gave a frosty reception to Mohammad Amir after the ICC cleared the tainted bowler to play domestic matches before the end of his ban.

Earlier, the ICC had decided to allow the banned bowler to play domestic matches under the auspices of the PCB with immediate effect.

Reflecting on Amir's reprieve, the veteran skipper said that it was about the ICC and Pakistan Cricket Board, and not him, adding that they were the ones who decides that, Stuff.co.nz reported.

Refraining from commenting on the topic, Misbah further said that it was a subject he didn't want to touch, adding that let them see how it goes, the report added.

Amir was handed a five year ban for his involvement in the infamous spot fixing scandal in a Test against England at Lord's in 2010, with the five-year ban was scheduled to expire on September 2 this year.
