Taliban pledges to violently disrupt Afghan elections

The Taliban has vowed to target Afghanistan's presidential election.

The militant group urged its fighters to attack polling staff, voters and security forces before the April 5 vote.

According to Dawn News, in an emailed statement, the Taliban said it has given orders to mujahideen to use all forces to disrupt the upcoming sham elections.

The group called on all countrymen to keep away from electoral offices, voting booths, rallies and campaigns so that may Allah forbid, their lives are not put into danger.
