Talking about happy memories 'better than sex'

A new survey has revealed that talking about happy memories gives people a bigger emotional boost than sex or chocolate.

According to a survey by internet site Lifetile on 2,000 adults, 8 in 10 said that they were happiest when recollecting old times with friends and family, the Daily Express reported.

Just under half (45 per cent) said reminiscing about past times gave them a greater, more prolonged emotional boost than chocolate (17 per cent), and even sex (38 per cent) and when asked which memory made them the happiest, 45 per cent of respondents said the birth of their children, followed by a particular holiday (32 per cent) and meeting their partner (30 per cent).
