Taylor's double-century puts Kiwis into 'strong position' in first Windies Test

A double century from Ross Taylor has set up New Zealand beautifully after the end of Day 2 of the second Test against the West Indies, as they lead by 542 runs after declaring on 609/9 in their first innings.

Taylor scored 217 runs off 319 balls and struck 23 fours in his unbeaten innings.

Meanwhile, the West Indies lost two wickets in their first innings that of Kirk Edwards and Kieron Powell, and is currently placed at 67/2 with Darren Bravo and Marlon Samuels at the crease.

Trent Boult and Tim Southee took a wicket each for the hosts.
