Telangana groundnut farmers want increased MSP

Telangana groundnut Farmers have demanded the minimum support price (MSP) to be increased up to Rs. 6000 per quintal

While speaking to ANI, the farmers said that currently they are getting Rs. 1800 to 4,000 per quintal, which is lesser than last year.

The farmers are demanding that the minimum support price should be Rs. 6,000 per quintal.

On Friday, the farmers ransacked the office an Agricultural Committee office over their demand. The ransacking led to wreckage of cupboards, tables and other stuffs in the office.
