Telangana IT minister pitches infrastructure plans to Centre

Telangana IT Minister KT Rama Rao met Union Ministers in the national capital to seek financial aid regarding infrastructure and development projects in the state.

Rao met Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari and Union Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu and pitched his plans.

Speaking to the media after his meeting, Rao said that Prabhu had proposed to barter land in Cherlopalli and Nagulapalli for the 32 acres sought by him, adding that a deadline of two weeks has been fixed in this regard.

He then proceeded to meet Gadkari and requested financial support for the proposed skyways on Warangal, Bangalore and Vijayawada highways.

Rao also held several meeting with various companies in the national capital in order to bring in more investments to Telangana.
