Temperatures in Delhi dipped by several degrees after the capital witnessed heavy rains during the wee hours of Saturday morning. The citizens of Delhi also heaved a sigh of relief as the city was reeling under high temperatures and sultry weather conditions.
The officials of the Indian Metrological Department (IMD) have said that more rain can be expected during the weekend. The minimum temperatures have dipped to around 25 degrees Celsius.
The heavy rain, however, also caused water-logging in many parts of the city which led to traffic jams.
The capital has witnessed heavy rains and strong winds even on Thursday.
