Terrence Howard has hinted that Robert Downey Jr. had a hand in pushing him out of the second installment of the 'Iron Man' series.

The 44-year-old American actor said that he was replaced as Lt. Colonel James 'Rhodey' Rhodes by Don Cheadle in 'Iron Man 2' as the person he had helped become Iron Man took the money that was supposed to go to him and pushed him out, Us Magazine reported.

He added that he had tried to get in touch with the person he had helped get the job, but didn't hear from him for three months.

Howard didn't name the person but it is known that Downey became Iron Man.
