A 15-year-old boy accused of being Islamic State (IS) militant said that he was given a choice to 'either join ISIS, or be beheaded' and admitted that he fought with the jihadists.
According to CBS News, Kareem Mulfeh is among the men accused of being IS terrorists and imprisoned in the basement of a jail in northern Syria.
The guards who are holding them are Kurdish fighters, one of whom asked Kareem why he had been so terrified.
Kareem, accused of plotting to detonate a car bomb, described about the IS atrocities and said that he was a witness to massacres when IS seized villages in Syria.
He also said that he was given a drug before going to battle that makes you lose your mind.
Kurdish fighters had captured Kareem nine months ago in a firefight and saved his life.
