James Gandolfini, who was best known for playing Tony Soprano in 'The Sopranos,' died in Italy on Wednesday. He was 51.
Gandolfini is believed to have died from a heart attack, TMZ.com reported.
He had come to Italy to attend the 59th Taormina Film Festival in Sicily, and was scheduled to participate in a festival event with Italian director Gabriele Muccino this weekend.
Gandolfini is survived by his wife Deborah Lin, who gave birth to the pair's daughter in October 2012, he also has a teenage son from an earlier marriage.
