The Who's Roger Daltrey has slammed modern music saying that with all the world's problems, they have got British boy band One Direction.
The 70-year-old musician told in an interview with a magazine that artists writing with any real sense of "angst" and purpose were missing today, the Daily Express reported.
The Brit singer asserted that he was not bothered by apparent similarities between One Direction's 'Best Song Ever' and The Who's 'Baba O'Riley'.
