Gurgaon, Nov. 5 (ANI): Can theatre workshops help children focus better in classrooms? "Yes, they can!" believes, acclaimed theatre personality Sanjna Kapoor. The co-founder and director of theatre group Junoon, feels that theatre has transformative ability that can help children explore their creative potential in a safe and encouraging environment.
The theatre group is organising workshops for children in two rounds, on 14th and 15th November and then again on the 21st to 22nd in Gurgaon. Manned by Sanjna Kapoor herself, these workshops are ideal for children in the age group 7 to 12 years.
The workshops will involve myriad ways to unlock children's creative potential. "There will be many theatre games that enable us all to be silly, and free from inhibitions. There are also exercises that lead to the realisation of new approaches to performance and creating theatre," said Sanjna.
Interestingly, these theatre workshops are not just restricted to children. Adults in the city can also unleash their creative potential through these workshops on weekends.

The weekend theatre workshops are open to people above the age of 16, though the upper limit is 60. "The participants are also made to watch two or three plays as part of the workshop so that they can understand the finer nuances of theatre," he added.
