The Rajya Sabha has been adjourned till noon after a united opposition continued with their protest and demanded the resignation of External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje.
When asked whether his party would to raise the Sushma Swaraj issue in the Parliament, Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi said: "Yes we are."
Amid cacophony in the Rajya Sabha, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley cited the rules and the opposition yelled 'shame-shame'.
Meanwhile, Congress president Sonia Gandhi lashed out the government following reports that the opposition protest inside the Lok Sabha was not being shown on camera.
"That is their (PM Modi) way," she said.
Rahul Gandhi on his part said this reflected Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 'style of suppressing'.
