At least thirteen people were killed and 24 others injured in a road accident in the Sadar police station area of Uttar Pradesh's Kannauj District this morning.
According to reports, the incident occurred when a truck carrying a marriage party collided head on with a roadways bus at around 6 a.m on the G.T. Road national highway.
The injured persons have been rushed to district hospital, while others have been sent for treatment to Kanpur.
