A live streaming app, BIGO LIVE, has become the second most popular app after Youtube as it has managed to cross 200 million downloads with 40 million downloads in India only.

As per the reports, over 2,00,000 broadcasters live stream every day.

Expressing his happiness over the growing numbers of downloads, Communication head of BIGO LIVE Nagesh Banga said, "The aim of the app is to help people to supplement their incomes by following their passions and for such talents, BIGO live is an easy and welcoming platform."

"We strive to make BIGO as one of the most entertaining platforms and have been tying up with people and celebrities from different genres. We have been also upgrading our procedures of moderation in order to filter and remove inappropriate content from the app," he added.

The app, which has been widely used by broadcasters and streamers for an impeccable live streaming experience, has introduced two new features in the app - Multi room chat feature and private room feature.

While the multi room feature is being designed for the people who have a niche interest in debating and discussion amidst groups, the private room feature helps users in keeping the privacy of their interactions and to share it with users they wanted to.

"My life changed completely after joining this app and My show LOLLY AUNTY on BIGO LIVE helped me garner the recognition I was missing in my life," said Ajay Wadhwa, who resigned his job after joining BIGO LIVE and has been earning substantially by sharing his unique humorous content with 2,50,000 followers on BIGO LIVE.

The app has also been a hub-ground for those who are always in need of platform to showcase their talents and wish to turn their passion into profession.

The app has also raised awareness and funds for Cerebral PALSY Alliance in Indonesia and is supporting education for underprivileged children there.
