This Republic Day, here's what B-Town has to say!

Which ever occassion it be, the tinsel town has always showered their thoughts and wishes on social media platforms.

Likewise, today, on the occasion of 68th Republic Day, Twitter, Instagram and other platforms were filled with greetings from B-Town.

From Amitabh Bachchan to Lata Mangeshkar, here's what the celebs said:

Lata Mangeshkar tweeted a picture of Mother India and wrote alongside, "Namaskar. Wish you all a very Happy Republic Day. Jai Hind."

The Shehanshah of Bollywood wrote, "Happy Republic Day. Greetings to all. Jai Hind!"

"Wishing everyone a very Happy Republic Day! Love. a," tweeted Aamir Khan.

Actor Sushant Singh Rajput did not just wish everyone, but also wrote a thought provoking line that read, "The love of one's country is a splendid thing. But why should love stop at the border?#RepublicDay #Casals" meaning love should be borderless."

 

"Happy Republic Day to all my fellow Indians. Do your bit too!#RepublicDay," wrote Boman Irani.

Anushka Sharma, through her tweet, reminded us about the 'hard struggle' the nation faced in the past, "68th yr of our constitution..a gift from the hard struggle of our past. Value it with unity for our country. Jai Hind! Happy #RepublicDay"

Critically acclaimed actress Nimrat Kaur shared a picture of her on INS Viraat and wrote. " "Aboard the mighty Viraat not so long ago. One of the best places to sit under, our glorious tricolour..Happy Republic Day all. #ProudIndian."

MTV VJ and actor Rannvijay Singha saluted the Indian Army with a picture of himself, holding the Indian flag on a snow-capped mountain and wrote alongside," Happy republic day to all my fellow Indians! #jaihind #salutesiachen #indianarmy."

Huma Qureshi posted a photo of an old stamp, showing the inauguration of Republic of India. With this picture, she wished the country, "Happy Republic Day guys !!"

'Baahubali' fame Rana Daggubati shared a poster of his upcoming movie 'Ghazi Attack' on Instagram and wrote, "Let's salute our defenders. #jaihind #republicday".

Karan Johar too tweeted the poster of the movie and wrote, "This #RepublicDay, my salute and gratitude to the protectors of our country. Jai Hind!!!"

On a related note, the movie will hit the screens on February 17.

Singer Adnan Sami, who recently got Indian citizenship, tweeted a picture of himself in Tri-color and wrote, "#HappyRepublicDay to everyone with all my Love & Duas. #JaiHind".

Varun Dhawan posted his picture with Alia Bhatt, holding the Indian flag and wrote alongside, "Wishing everyone a very happy #RepublicDay. We have a lot to be proud. The future is indian."

"Happy #RepublicDay salute to all the armed forces for protecting our constitutional rights. Jai hind!" tweeted Siddharth Malhotra.
