At least three civilians were killed and eight others wounded in an explosion in Afghanistan's Ghor province on Monday.
The provincial governor's spokesman, Abdulhai Khatibi, said the blast took place near Ferozkoh city of Ghor when a civilian vehicle, traveling from Herat province towards Ghor, hit a road side mine, reports Tolo News.
He added that women and children are among the victims.
The injured were immediately transferred to a nearby hospital.
So far, no group has claimed responsibility for the incident.
