Three new faces inducted in Madhya Pradesh Cabinet

The Madhya Pradesh Government on Thursday inducted three new faces in the Cabinet and made six ministers as the Minister of States.

The three new faces inducted in the Cabinet are Archana Chitnis, Rustam Singh and Om Prakash Dhurve.

Among those who are made the Minister of States are Jaibhan Singh Pawaiya, Harsh Singh, Vishwas Sarang, Lalita Yadav, Sanjay Pathak and Surya Prakash Meena.

Madhya Pradesh Governor Ramnaresh Yadav administered the oath of office and secrecy to the new ministers.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had on June 29 visited New Delhi and took nod of the party's central leadership's to expand and reshuffle his Cabinet.

 

The Chouhan-led government, in its third term, has 18 cabinet ministers and four ministers of state since December 2013.

The expansion was expected in 2014 and 2015, but it did not happen.

As per the Constitutional provision, 11 more ministers can be appointed.
