Three SIMI terrorists get lifer for murder of BJP leaders

Three terrorists affiliated to Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) have been sentenced to life imprisonment by District Court on Tuesday in connection with an eight-year-old case of murder of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Pramod Tiwari and Raju Dubey.

There were seven accused in this case; out of which four were killed in a jail break encounter, while three others namely Abu Faisal, Abdullah Hussain Altaf, Abdul Raqib were imposed life sentence with an additional penalty of Rs. one thousand each.
