Neill Blomkamp is all geared up to give 'RoboCop' its third sequel, 'RoboCop Returns'.
Earlier, MGM in partnership with Sony had developed its second sequel, 'Robocop Remake', which was directed by Jose Padilha.
It is now all set to develop its third sequel, which will be directed by Neill Blomkamp.
Joel Kinnaman acted as the title character in 'Robocop Remake' in 1990, when the film earned $240 million worldwide while Paul Verhoeven's 1987 'RoboCop', starring Peter Weller in the lead role grossed more than $50 million worldwide.
Original screenwriter of the thriller movie, Ed Neumeier will be producing 'RoboCop Returns' and MGM executive VP Adam Rosenberg will oversee the picture for the studio, as reported by Variety.
