Tibetans continue protest against Chinese President's visit

Shouting 'Free Tibet', 'Long Live Dalai Lama' and 'We want freedom' slogans, one of the protestors said that President Xi must meet Dalai Lama and discuss Tibet

Tibetans in the city continued with their protests on the third day of Chinese President Xi Jinping's visit to India. The protesters were gathered near the Taj Hotel where the Chinese President is currently staying.

Shouting 'Free Tibet', 'Long Live Dalai Lama' and 'We want freedom' slogans, one of the protestors said that President Xi must meet Dalai Lama and discuss Tibet.

Earlier on Thursday, Delhi Police detained Tibetans protesting against Chinese President Xi Jinping's visit to India outside Hyderabad House, where delegation-level talks were going on between President Xi and Prime Minister Modi.

The Chinese President's three-day visit to India has seen continued protests from members of the Tibetan Youth Congress.
