Social activist Kavita Shrivastav on Tuesday said the accused in the Tilak Nagar eve-teasing case must undergo counseling.
"I think there must be counseling of the boy. If one boy improves, then all the boys will improve. Try to respect women. Stop unwelcome advances to women," Shrivastav told ANI here.
"I think, in this particular case, restricting him is very important. The third year college girl is brave enough to post it on Face book, and say I want to show my face because I have not done anything wrong; he has done wrong and I am exposing his face so that he gets arrested," she added.
The social activist further said that the accused would get bail because he is a first time offender.
"Delhi police acted on her email complaint on her photograph. I think these are very positive things and we have to spread it that try getting the photograph of the offender and write to the police," said Shrivastav.
"There must be proper counseling of the boy to get him out of that crime," she added.
