Sir Tim Berners-Lee, the inventor of the World Wide Web says that apps are boring.
According to News.com.au, responding to a question at the LeWeb conference in Paris, Lee said that the web was built to be an open innovative platform but much of it has become read-only and walled gardens.
He said that the app was capable of doing everything that a person could do.
He further said that the future would be based on web technology, adding that though it looked like an app, it's a web page.
