Tim Rice has revealed that collaborating with Andrew Lloyd Webber is a bit strange, but exciting as well, especially going back on something they did as kids.

The 69-year-old British lyricist said that he and the 66-year-old composer, who after several reported disagreements decided they would never work together again, is like any marriage with their ups and downs, the Mirror reported.

Rice added that he and Webber, who came to see his show 'From Here To Eternity' in 2013 and was fairly polite about it, are actually working together at the moment on an animated treatment of 'Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat' and have done the deal with 'Rocket.'

Rice continued that it's put together by Elton John's production company that approached the duo and so they have had two or three meetings, after which the pair have been through the score together.

Rice further added that they are thinking now about what they want to cut because in a show they can get away with reprises but for an animated film people have to trim it a bit and quite possibly put in a new song somewhere.

He concluded that they have got to the point of "This is what we think" and now need to get it past the director, who hasn't been picked yet.
