Janata Dal United (JD-U) leader Ali Anwar today said that it was time for the government to show their 56 inch chest to Pakistan to stop its guerilla tactics.
When asked about his opinion on PM's proxy war statements yesterday, Anwar told ANI, "It's a good thing that Pakistan is not strong enough to indulge in direct conflict with India, but Pakistan indulges in guerilla warfare. It's now time for them to show their 56 inch chest against the guerilla tactics of Pakistan."
Prime Minister Narendra Modi had yesterday condemned the continuing proxy war by Pakistan.
He said that the neighbouring country has lost the strength to fight a conventional war, but continues to engage in the proxy war of terrorism.
The Prime Minister also added that the Indian Armed Forces are suffering more casualties from terrorism than from war.
He said this is a global problem and all humanitarian forces of the world should unite to fight it.
Modi also added that India is committed to strengthening and uniting these humanitarian forces.
