A new study has revealed that by pressing snooze button on the alarm clocks everyday Britons lose more than two days of sleep a year.
The survey showed that eight in 10 people hit snooze every morning, the Daily Express reported.
Dr Nerina Ramlakhan, sleep therapist, said that snoozing, which appears incredibly tempting, was a bad habit as it reduces the quality of sleep.
The research, commissioned by bed giant Silentnight, also found 43 per cent of people regularly wake up in the night and one in seven is left so tired, he or she has to have a daytime nap.
