Quentin Tarantino, who might take retirement from direction, has expressed a desire to pen novels and plays.
The 52-year-old actor revealed that he wanted to retire from direction after completing 10 movies and hopes to complete two more films after his upcoming flick 'The Hateful Eight' hits cinemas, the Independent reports.
In a recent interview, the 'Pulp Fiction' director said after taking retirement , he would start mulling about his creative future, adding that he basically desires to write novels and theaters.
According to sources, the director earlier revealed his retirement plans, saying, "I don't believe you should stay onstage until people are begging you to get off. I like the idea of leaving them wanting a bit more."
The upcoming mystery flick, starring actor Samuel L. Jackson, Kurt Russell and actress Jennifer Jason Leigh, will hit the US theaters on December 25, 2015.
