Confirming the suspension of Trinamool Congress (TMC) Panchayat member Pabitra Roy for firing from inside a car on a mob, the party said that it has zero tolerance for such issues.
"Firstly, he is a Panchayat member and not a leader. The action has been swift, he allegedly used a gun, he has already been arrested. The law will take its own course, as it is equal for everybody. And he is already been suspended from the party. The party has zero tolerance for such issues," TMC national spokesperson Derek O'Brien told ANI here.
