According to strategy analytics, advertising expenditure in the United States has been estimated to cross nearly 187 billion dollars in 2015.
According to TechCrunch, digital ad spending will increase to one-third of the total amount making it almost 52.8 billion dollars.
Digital spending on ads will increase by 2.5 percent since 2014 and it is increasing at a rate of 13 percent in 2015 which makes it the fastest growing category in ad spending.
Meanwhile, TV spending on advertisements will account for the biggest share of the ad expenditure in 2015 with 42 percent of total spending resulting in nearly 79 billion dollars.
Print advertisement comes in the third place with 15 percent of total ad spending or 28 billion dollars.
