Tremors were felt in parts of Kashmir after an earthquake jolted the region on Wednesday.
Reports say that the tremors lasted for close to five seconds.
The magnitude and epicentre of the earthquake is yet to be known.
No causalities or loss of property has been reported so far.
Last month, at least 13 people were killed in Pakistan after the deadly 7.7 magnitude earthquake hit Afghanistan's Hindu Kush region, sending tremors to Kashmir and northern India.
