Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar inaugurated a multilingual literary convention at the Rabindra Centenary hall in Agartala yesterday.
Renowned literary personalities from West Bengal, Assam, Tripura and neighbouring Bangladesh participated in the gathering.
The focus of the programme was to encourage cultural interaction among literary personalities of the region and create a platform for wider cultural interactions.
The three-day festival hosts a number of cultural, literary, media and art related events, including symposiums and exhibitions.
