Premium motorcycle brand Triumph has expanded its adventure portfolio in India, with the launch of the XRx and the XCx models.
Priced at Rs 11.6 lakh and 12.7 lakh (Ex-Showroom price Delhi) respectively, both are premium bikes. While the XR is for on-road biking, the XC is targeted at the off-road segment. The XR, a toned down version, priced at rupees 10.5 lakh, is going to be launched soon.
Both bikes have an 800 cc engine, delivering 95ps of torque. The bikes were first showcased at the India Bike Week and add to the Tiger range with the Explorer and 800XC models, which were already available.
These bikes will come to India as Completely Knocked Down (CKD) units and will be assembled at Manesar before being sent to dealerships around the country.
Triumph is also planning to expand its dealership numbers.
