Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) chief Kalvakuntla Chandrashekar Rao on Friday released the party's manifesto and first list of candidates for assembly polls in Telangana.

Rao released name of 69 candidates for state elections of Telangana, 29th state carved out of Andhra Pradesh. Elections to 119 assembly and 17 parliament seats in Telangana will be held on April 30.

Telangana will officially become a separate state on June 2.

Rao expressed confidence over victory in Telangana.

"We may cross 75 (assembly seats) comfortably. Yesterday you have seen so many channels asking people all across Telangana, out of every 10 people, eight or nine are telling that, 'we are going to vote for TRS'. Have I seen myself? My belief is we are going to win 14 MPs (members of parliament)," he said.

A key TRS leader, Kalvakuntla Taraka Rama Rao, ruled out having an alliance with any other party.

"The fact that we have about released 69 (name) candidates, which is more than half, should tell you that there is no scope for any further alliance. It should be put to an end to all such speculation and this basically should tell you that we are going alone in the elections," Rama Rao added.
