Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump recently appeared on 'The Tonight Show' and jocularly said he wanted to be the President so that he could earn "a lot less" than what he does now.
The 70-year-old, while talking with the host Jimmy Fallon, complained about the "grueling" process of campaigning and joked that he wanted to be the President because "I'm looking to make a lot less money," reports The Hollywood Reporter.
Trump is reported to have turned up with a mellowness and equanimity on the show where the 41-year-old host, who is also a comedian, asked him about his propensity for saying shocking things.
"I'm trying not to, anymore," he replied.
Meanwhile, he justified his natural tendency to eat fast food by saying that there was less chance to get poisoned when eating in chains like McDonald's or Wendy's.
