Jo-Wilfried Tsonga produced a resilient performance as he trounced Rafael Nadal to reach the final of Shanghai Masters on Saturday.
Frenchman Tsonga claimed a 6-4, 0-6, 7-5 win over the 14-time Grand Slam champion in a gripping contest that lasted over two hours and 15 minutes.
With the win, Tsonga surged to number ninth in the ATP Race To London and will next face the winner of the other semifinal between Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray.
