Two gunmen have shot dead a Tunisian police officer in the beach resort of Sousse where 38 people were killed in a massive attack in June.
According to the BBC, three police officials were attacked by the gunmen who entered on a motorcycle.
Police have launched a vast search for the gunmen, the interior ministry said.
One of the three officers died while he was being taken to the hospital and the others were not affected.
Sousse is still trying to recover after a gunman killed 38 tourists on a beach in the city on 26 June in an attack later claimed by the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) group.
Tunisia's tourism industry has suffered badly since the Sousse beach killings and an attack in Tunis in March.
