Twins Jeromme and Jarelle Spence beat huge odds of 150,000-1, becoming father on the very same day at the same hospital to healthy baby boys.

The 21-year-old twins, whose newborns were delivered at New Cross Hospital in Wolverhampton, had been shocked when they had learned their partners had the same due date, and amazingly the babies, were born in the same water pool in the same room and were delivered by the same midwife, the Mirror reported.

It was Jeromme's partner Tegan Compton, 19, who gave birth first to a 8lb 7oz Cameron at 2.04am, and Jarrell's girlfriend Francesca Ashe, also 19, followed suit, delivering 7lb 11oz Cassen 2-and-a-half hours later.

Jarrell, who works for a catering firm, said that their mother was with him when Tegan gave birth, and was admiring her first grandson when a couple of hours later she had another one.

Midwife Barbara Kapoor, who delivered both babies, said it was amazing as she had never seen anything this before.
