Trump, who has been ruling the internet for a while thanks to his eccentric flow of tweets and announcements, has been forced to take a side seat as his former presidential rival Hillary Clinton has taken Twitter by storm after she was clicked reading the news of Vice President Mike Pence's email getting hacked, with quite a pensive expression.

One simply can't get over the sheer irony dripping from the picture which has now gone viral.

Instantly the picture spawned a string of meme's, ranging from creative to plain upfront.

However, Pence has clarified that there is no comparison between his use of a private email account to conduct state business as Indiana Governor and that of Hillary Clinton as Secretary of State.

Clinton was criticized for the email scandal throughout her presidential campaign.

"There's no comparison whatsoever between Hillary Clinton's practise, having a private server that was handling classified information, destroying emails that were requested by the Congress and by officials," The Independent quoted Pence, as saying to reporters at an event in Wisconsin.

Pence had reportedly used an AOL email account to discuss sensitive homeland security issues.

According to the Indianapolis Star, Pence's account was hacked last year.

Pence said he had an attorney review of his private email records to ensure that state-related messages are given over to and properly archived by the state government.

The democrat presidential nominee was investigated for using her personal and unsecured email server during her tenure as secretary of state.

FBI director James Comey had accused Clinton of being "careless" but did not recommend any criminal charges.

However, she was cleared of any wrongdoing.
