Two persons were burnt to death after a tempo collided with a stationary Volvo bus at the Urse toll plaza on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway in the Talegaon region early on Thursday.
The Volvo bus was heading towards Karnataka via the Expressway.
The mishapp occurred around 3 a.m. Police said both vehicles caught fire after the collision.
The tempo driver and the cleaner were killed in the incident. They are yet to be identified. An investigation is underway.
