At least two people, including a young girl, were killed after a closed factory collapsed here late on Sunday.
Police and rescue workers have said that the death and injury toll could mount, even as they continue to search through the rubble of the collapsed building.
The building is reported to have been closed since 2005.
"This factory was closed since 2005. We have got the information that the building roof and wall collapsed in which some people were trapped. A body of a girl child has been recovered. We are also trying to take out the body of a man from under the debris. There are chances that some more people are trapped under the debris," M.S Parmar, a police official.
As of now, the reason for the collapse of the building remains unknown.
