At least two people were killed and three others got injured after a leak in Gas Authority of India Limited (GAIL) pipeline at Suryapet area of Telangana's Nalgonda district on Saturday.
The incident took place when GAIL engineers were doing routine pipeline check at around 12 noon.
GAIL employees Roshan Tijare (manager) and V. Ramesh (technician) were killed on the spot.
Three other employees namely Balakrishna (manager) Narsimha (technician) and G. Venkat (technician) were injured in the incident.
Venkat's condition is said to be critical and he has been shifted to Hyderabad for better treatment.

Earlier in June last year, around 15 people were killed and 12 others got injured after a GAIL pipeline exploded following a gas leak in East Godavari district of the state.
