At least two passengers were killed and five others injured after a vehicle plunged into a 200 feet gorge in Uttarakhand.
The residents of Tehri region rushed to the site and evacuated passengers from the gorge. With the help of police, they rescued five injured and took them to a hospital.
A police officer, Mohammed Akram, said the exact cause behind the mishap was yet to be ascertained.
"Five injured people were sent to hospital. Two bodies have been recovered. Three people were seen being washed away. We are searching for them," said Akram.
