A U.S. Senate leader has said that she believes that terrorist sleeper cells are present in the United States and not only France following the Paris massacre that took 17 lives last week.

According to the Washington Times, Dianne Feinstein said that the country should be more vigilant and keep a close guard.

However, Feinstein did not discuss about how many terrorist suspects were present in the country or any details of the terrorist plot.

Despite a lack of threat, a poll shows that 65 percent Americans fear a strike in the U.S while only 26 percent said that an attack is not likely.

U.S. President is also preparing to launch an anti-extremism summit on 18th February.
