A footballer and two men in UAE have been jailed for two years each for having sex with three prostitutes at knifepoint in their flat after they brawled over the fees.

According to Gulf News, they threatened the women with knives and raped three of them before they stole their mobile phones and ran away.

The 20-year-old footballer, K.S., and his Sudanese associates, S.H., who works in the TV industry, and A.M., a student, were said to have forced their way into the flat of four Ethiopian women in Al Rifaa, according to the report.

The Dubai Court of First Instance convicted the Emirati footballer and the two Sudanese men of gang-raping three Ethiopian prostitutes and stealing their belongings, the report mentioned.

Presiding judge Wajdi Al Menyawi also sentenced the women to two years in jail each for working in prostitution, the report said.

The three men denied the accusation of raping the women and entered a not guilty plea, the report added.

Meanwhile, the footballer also said that they did not steal anything and the four women denied working as prostitutes.
