United Arab Emirates' Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Anwar Mohammed Gargash has warned Pakistan of having to pay a "heavy price" for its "ambiguous stand" on the escalating crisis in Yemen.
According to Dawn News, Gargash said that the "vague" stand of Pakistan is a proof that Arab security from Libya to Yemen is the sole job of Arab countries.
He also said that Pakistan should take a clear stand "in favour of its strategic relations with the six-nation Arab Gulf cooperation Council".
Gargash's comments came after Pakistani lawmakers' call for the government to stay neutral on Yemen crisis.
