In the near future, if you hire an Uber when intoxicated, the company will take extra precaution to ensure the ride goes smooth without any unexpected turn of events.
Uber has filed patent for an AI-based technology that will tell sober passengers from the drunk ones, Cnet reported.
It will take into account factors such as passenger location, number of typos entered in mobile app, and angle of the smartphone held. The patent was filed in 2016 and it is unclear if it will be introduced immediately.
