Danny Welbeck's hat-trick of goals on Wednesday helped Arsenal FC to swamp Galatasaray 4-1 in a UEFA Champions League encounter at the Emirates Stadium.
Welbeck scored his three goals in the 22, 30 and 52 minutes of the game. Arsenal's fourth goal came courtesy Alexis Sanchez in the 41st minute.
For Galatasaray, the lone goal was scored through a penalty by Burak Yilmaz in the 63rd minute of the match, reports the BBC.
Wednesday's win came on Arsene Wenger's 18th anniversary as boss of Arsenal FC.
The win was Arsenal's first in this year's Champions League and means they have three points in Group D.
Galatasaray rarely ventured forward as they tried to contain the Arsenal front four, and their nervousness perhaps contributed to a poor defensive error that allowed Arsenal to score.
